- ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆I'm not a huge zoo fan. I really prefer viewing wildlife in the wild. But I really enjoyed Warrawong because it felt like an open environment. Sure, when you get near the perimeter, there are fences, but the property is so large and vegetated that you almost forget. If it was only vegetation, it would still be a great garden walk. But then, a wallaby or a bandicoot crosses your path! I know the big attraction is the platypus exhibit, and it's all at night, but it's a great place to visit during the day for FREE (Donations are nice too).By A Google User, June 27, 2017
